Cease your running, my Beloved; stop searching for your worth in this world.

I know you’re worn out, exhausted but yet, you still seek, unyielding

You’re wounds are evident and healing is needed… stop trying to cure yourself.

Instead, sit by the well with Jesus…a place of reflection and rest

Quench your thirst for acceptance there

And find the love you intensely require.

He will dismantle your walls of protection and eliminate the lies you’ve been told.

You are his Beloved, the one his delight is in

And he hears your cries of despair

Come encounter the living Christ and release your sorrows to him

There is no shame on his lips, nor condemnation

Only mercy and compassion he gives

Allow him to enter your pain

And show you the worth he bestows

You won’t have to search for it in people

Because it has always been alive in his love

Stop running my Beloved, he calls to you each day

Exchange your tears for his peace and contentment

And receive comfort for your breaking heart

He desires to heal you completely,

I pray you will yield to his love

  11. How lovely! And such truth! I have found, personally, that the more I seek Jesus and get to know him, the more he quiets me with his love. Even when I’m lonely and begin to feel ‘less than’ he reminds of his truth that “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
